You can select a tour route from the two types of Tour Course below:

Model Tour Course
You can choose either any 2 sights for a half day 3-hour tour (A1, A2, A3) or any 3 spots for a full day 5-hour tour (B1,B2,B3) from the 6 recommended spots as shown below. We usually walk or use bus, train and taxi depending on the tour course and/or your request(s).

A1 Tsurugaoka Hachimangu-Great Buddha
This guided tour of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu and the Great Buddha takes about 3 hours. It is the most popular tour.

A2 Hasedera-Great Buddha
This guided tour of Hasedera, one of the oldest temple in Kamakura, and the Great Buddha takes about 3 hours. This tour gives you an opportunity to know the historical importance of the Hase area.

A3 Hokokuji-Tsurugaoka Hachimangu
You spend a half day first appreciating the beautiful bamboo grove while sipping matcha green tea at Hokokuji, and then visiting Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, the historic native shrine built by the shogun Minamoto Yoritomo.

B1 Tsurugaoka Hachimangu-Hasedera-Great Buddha
This guided tour of three major sightseeing attractions in Kamakura takes about 5 hours. This is our most popular long tour.

B2 Great Buddha-Tsurugaoka Hachimangu-Kenchoji
These three famous sites depict the history of Kamakura as they represent respectively the teachings of Amida, the Hachiman god of protection and the spirit of Zen. This is an exciting, long tour.

Free Tour Course
You can plan your own tour routes. However, the whole tour should take no more than 5 hours excluding lunch break, and the tour is limited to Kamakura and Enoshima areas.
